Hello, everybody! My name is Josh Allman. I am an English Language Teaching Assistant in two primary schools: Guesde Salengro in Lumbres and Ferry in Hallines. I am 23 years old, and I am from Durham, North Carolina in the United States. I have two younger sisters and live with my parents in Durham.

 

I received my diploma from Appalachian State University in May 2016. I studied Choral Music Education. I love finding opportunities to sing and make music with my students here. I think that they enjoy it, too.

 

I chose to come to France because I have loved the country and culture since I was 16. Since I studied music, it was difficult to take French classes at the same time. As such, I am very happy to be in France with many opportunities to practice the language and learn about the culture. I hope to continue my studies in French when I return to the United States in May.

In my free time, I love to read, sing, and write.
