Hi! I’m Vivien, the English language assistant at l’École François Rabelais (in Monchy-le-Preux) and l’École Jacques Prévert (in Roeux). I’m 20 years old and currently living in a flatshare in Lille.   

I’m from London and I study French and English literature at the University of Manchester; it’s been great showing the pupils pictures of my home and teaching them the names of all the monuments! 

In my free time I love listening to music, making collages, and watching films, and I look forward to bringing some of these things into my lessons.

Despite all the difficulties of Covid, I’ve had an amazing time so far and have fallen in love with both Lille and teaching. I’ve loved exploring a new city while (slowly) improving my French and meeting lots of interesting people.
